This book is a guide to behavior management for students (both typically developing and special needs) with behavior problems that cannot be resolved through usual methods or are not affected by school-wide Positive Behavior Support (PBS). This manual helps school teams develop appropriate and effective individualized solutions for students with persistent behavior problems. It presents a systematic method called Positive Strategies, which centers on two major activities, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
