Adeola Sokunbi is an award-winning author and illustrator from London with a passion for doodling and anything fantasy. Her debut book, Destiny Ink: Sleepover Surprise, won the 2025 IBC Award for highly illustrated children's fiction. She studied Computer Animation at University, and has been working in the industry as a Senior Lighting and Compositing Artist. During lockdown, she picked up writing as a hobby and has been in love with creating stories ever since. Outside of animation and publishing, she loves to play all kinds of games, whether it's sports, computer games or board games.
Big Cat Story Talk is a research-informed language programme that places books at the heart of every session.
