Big Cat Story Talk is a research-informed language programme that places books at the heart of every session. Using a series of lively wordless picture books, the programme builds vocabulary, improves language and communication and increases social and emotional wellbeing through quality interactions and rich child-led book talk. Rosie loves searching for nature, but somehow always seems to be looking in the wrong place. When her grandfather asks her to help him set up his roof garden for Spring, will she learn to see the nature around her? Themes: hobbies, nature, gardening, city, family, seasons, emotions The Big Cat Story Talk programme includes online training, videos and resources to assist with classroom implementation, delivery and engagement.

Since being a child, Kate has always been a storyteller. Whether inventing characters for her made up stories, or creating imaginary worlds for her toys to inhabit, she always loved getting lost in the world of stories and nothing much has changed. Her love of storytelling has led her down a meandering path, which included studying theatre design and later, working as a stage manager in the theatre industry before discovering her true passion. These days, Kate channels her creativity into illustrating children's books, which she thinks is the best job in the world.
