Sven Nordquist (b. 1946) is well-loved Swedish childrens illustrator and writer. The Findus and Pettson stories draw on his playful adventures with his two young sons. His unique illustrations are inspired by a delight in everyday life.
Farmer Pettson is in a bad mood and wants to be left alone, but Findus his talking cat wants to cheer him up. He eventually persuades Pettson to go fishing and Pettsons mood is transformed.
